EBENFELD PIONEER CALLED BY DEATH

Hillsboro, Kans. — Funeral services for Henry Suderman, pioneer settler in the Ebenfeld community near here, were held at the Mennonite Brethren church of Hillsboro on Jan. 16. He died at the Mission Home on Jan. 12 at the age of 84.

He came to this country from South Russia as a youth, and farmed in the Ebenfeld community until 1921. Since then he had lived in Hillsboro, and was employed here as a painter for many years.
