— Funeral services were held at the Carlock, Ill. Christian church recently for Simon E. Lantz of Congerville, well known Illinois legislator and cattle breeder. He had served in the state senate since 1914, where he was the leader in agriculture affairs and also in the highway program. Sen. Lantz, a native of Carlock, was of Mennonite parentage. He was 80 years of age. | |||
