Retired Dairyman Dies at Morton, Ill.
Metamora, Ill. — Chris H. Yordy, 76, retired farmer and dairyman of the Morton community, died at his home there Feb. 27. Funeral services were held at the Morton Mennonite Church, where he was a long time member. Rev. Kenneth Good, the pastor, officiated.
A native of Germany, Mr. Yordy came to the United States when three years of age. He retired in 1942.
Surviving are his wife, who was Lydia Staker, three sons, three step-daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
