NATIVE OF RUSSIA DIES AT FRESNO

Reedley, Calif. — Graveside services were held here Jan. 20 for Mrs. John P. Funk, a native of Russia who passed away at Fresno.

Mrs. Funk was a member of the Mennonite refugee group which came to the United States by way of China, arriving in Reedley in 1929. She had lived at Fresno since 1938.

Surviving are her husband, a son Peter J. Funk of Reedley, two grandchildren, and a brother in Germany.
