YOUTH SMOTHERED IN BIN OF CORN AT OHIO GRAIN COMPANY PLANT

Sugarcreek, Ohio. — While working at a grain company in Plain City, 16-year-old John W. Beachy fell into a bin of shelled corn being transferred to a dryer and smothered to death. Another employee heard his screams for help, but it was a half hour before the body could be removed.

He was the son of Mrs. Elizabeth Beachy and the late Noah Beachy.
