MRS. CLARA MILL

Clara Mill, daughter of Elias and Elizabeth Tyson Fretz, was born, July 7, 1893, in Bedminster township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

She was baptized on confession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as here personal savior on October 30, 1915, at the Deep Run Mennonite meeting house of the General Conference by Pastor Allen M. Fretz. She was a faithful member of this congregation for the rest of her days.

In February 1912 she married Jones M. Mill, of Bedminster township. They lived in Bedminster township, where they made their home. To them were born three childern [sic], Mae, Walter, and Edward.

Clara was a faithful Christian, a devoted mother and a loyal church member.

Since the middle of October she had been sick. During these five weeks she endured her weakness with quiet assurance in the Lord. She said, "He will help me." During Friday, November 14, 1952, she grew weaker in body and that evening she fell asleep at the age of 59 years. The Lord had helped her in His own way.

One brother and one sister preceded her in death. Those who remain are two sisters, three brothers, her husband, her three children and three grandchildren.

The funeral and interment were at Deep Run, Wednesday, November 19. The pastor, J. Herbert Fretz, preached on John 14:2b: "If it were not so I would have told you."
