Early-Day Settler At Olivet, S. D. Dies
Freeman, S. D. — Funeral services were held at the Hutterthal Mennonite Church near here for Paul D. Gross, one of the pioneer Mennonite settlers in this area who died Nov. 12, at the age of 80, in the Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls.
Born at Johannesruh, Russia, he came to the Olivet community at the age of two with his parents. He had lived on the same farm since his marriage to Anna Tschetter on Dec. 6, 1903.
