— Jacob Dieck, 66, lifelong resident of the Whitewater community, suffered a heart attack at the farm home on Sept. 16 and passed away the following day at the Bethel Deaconess hospital here. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Emmaus Mennonite church, Rev. Walter H. Dyck officiating. Surviving are his wife, the former Helene J. Harder, four daughters, Anna C., Helen M. and Margurite [''sic'' Marguerite] R. of the home, and Mrs. Raymond Hiebert of Burns, two sons, Abraham and Carl, at home.
