Father of Nine Killed in Highway Accident
DAVID SCHROCK, NATIVE OF KANSAS, DIES IN MICHIGAN CRASH
Goshen, Ind. — Funeral services for David Schrock, 57, who was instantly killed in a highway accident east of Niles, Mich., were held June 11 at the Holdeman Mennonite Church near Wakarusa. Simon Gingrich, the pastor, officiated.
Mr. Schrock, a native of Hutchinson, Kan., had lived in South Bend in recnt years where he had operated a restaurant. He was on a trip with neighbor when the fatal accident took place.
Surviving are his second wife, whom he married in 1953; three sons and six daughters, including Mrs. Delbert Kurtz and Mrs. Gene Bontrager of Goshen; three brothers, Mose of Goshen, John of South Bend and Tobias of La Junta, Colo.; and one sister, Mrs. Levi Miller of Jamesport, Mo.
