Orrville, Ohio. &#8212; Funeral services for John W. Kropf, 84, well known retired business man and community leader here, took place June 11 at the Orrville Mennonite Church. He died June 7 at a Millersburg rest home after a long illness.

A native of Smithville, Mr. Kropf was in the hardware business here for 30 years. Active in church and civic affairs, he gave long and faithful service on the village council, board of public affairs and board of education. he was one of the founders of the Board of Industry here and active in its successor, the Chamber of Commerce.

WELL-KNOWN BUSINESS MAN, CIVIC LEADER OF ORRVILLE, OHIO DIES

Orrville, Ohio. — Funeral services for John W. Kropf, 84, well known retired business man and community leader here, took place June 11 at the Orrville Mennonite Church. He died June 7 at a Millersburg rest home after a long illness.

A native of Smithville, Mr. Kropf was in the hardware business here for 30 years. Active in church and civic affairs, he gave long and faithful service on the village council, board of public affairs and board of education. he was one of the founders of the Board of Industry here and active in its successor, the Chamber of Commerce.
