7-YEAR-OLD BOY DIES OF BURNS, FATHER IN CRITICAL CONDITION
Berne, Ind. — Seven-year-old William Lengacher of the Grabill community was watching his father, Louis Lengacher, stir a mixture of grease and gasoline at the Shaw Poultry Farm when the material exploded, severely burning both.
The youth died Sunday, May 12, at Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne, and his father was in critical condition at the same hospital.
