KATIE REIMER
Katie Froese was born in Chortitza, Russia on January 29, 1923 and came to Canada the same year. Her youth was spent at McMahon, Sask. She was saved at 16, baptized two years later and accepted into the Mennonite Brethren Church at Rhinefeld, Sask. In 1943 she moved to B.C. with her parents. She married John P. Reimer on October 29, 1944. On Nov. 24, 1973 she passed away after a lengthy illness. The funeral was held in the South Abbotsford (B.C.) Church with Rev . D. Nickel, Don Balzer and Rev. H.H. Nickel officiating.
She leaves to mourn: her husband, John P. Reimer; four daughters-Esther (Mrs. Henry) Suderman and Irene (Mrs.C.) Loewen both of Abbotsford, Naomi (Mrs. G.) Crapo of Mission, B.C., and Ruth at home; two sons, Dan and Edward of Abbotsford; five grandchildren; her father, Abram Froese of Clearbrook, B.C.; four brothers; five sisters.
