Hillsboro, Kan. — Funeral services were conducted at the First Mennonite Church here March 4 for Dan S. Hiebert, 51, prominent farmer of the Hillsboro community who died unexpectedly Feb. 28 at the farm home. Rev. Elbert Koontz officiated, assisted by Rev. H. T. Unruh. | |||
Mr. Hiebert was born here April 4, 1905, and lived on the same farm most of his life. he was active in community affairs, serving as chairman of the Marion County A. S. C. Committee at the time of his death. he had been afflicted with a heart condition as a result of an attack of rheumatic fever at the age of 13. | |||
Surviving are his wife, Katherine, three sons, two brothers and four sisters. | |||

Hillsboro, Kan. — Funeral services were conducted at the First Mennonite Church here March 4 for Dan S. Hiebert, 51, prominent farmer of the Hillsboro community who died unexpectedly Feb. 28 at the farm home. Rev. Elbert Koontz officiated, assisted by Rev. H. T. Unruh.
