Mr. David farmed near Tampa for a number of years, retiring and moving to Hillsboro in 1920. Five months ago he went to be with a daughter, Mrs. Helen Franz of Lyons, where he died Feb. 3. | |||

Long-Time Hillsboro Resident Died
Hillsboro, Kan. — Funeral services for Fred David, a native of Russia and long-time resident of this community, were held at the Mennonite Brethren church here Feb. 7.
A native of the village Dietel in Russia, where he was born Aug. 14,1871, he came to this country alone at the age of 20 and settled here. In 1894 his parents and the rest of the family also emigrated.
