— Abe H. Schroeder, 88-year-old Newton resident, died Monday evening at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital. Funeral services are to be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Sister Frieda Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Arnold Epp in charge. A retired farmer, Mr. Schroeder was born in South Russia and came to this country at the age of six. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Bartel, three sons, Marvin and Harold A. of Newton, and Roland of Canton; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. | |||
