DAVID ARTHUR PLETT

David Plett was born to Wilfred and Hannah Plett of Brotherfield district near Waldheim, Sask., on June 8, 1956. He passed away in early October of this year, having reached an age of 17 years and four months. Although he appeared to be a normal child at birth, it soon became clear that not everything was right. Throughout his life he remained a helpless child, unable to talk, walk, play or feed himself. After 1970 he was hospitalized, at various times in the Moose Jaw Training School and the Rosthern Crippled Childrens Home. Death came from bronchial pneumonia. His family are comforted to know that David has gone on to a better land.

He leaves behind his parents and five sisters and their husbands. The funeral was conducted from the Brotherfield Mennonite Brethren Church, Waldheim, on October 11, with Corny Braun and George Jantzen ministering.
