ANNA HEPTING

A resident of the Menno Hospital, Abbotsford, B.C., Mrs. Anna Hepting died October 3. The funeral services were conducted from the Yarrow Mennonite Brethren Church. Mrs. Hepting was born Anna Lechner on June 25, 1880 in Russia. She was married in 1899 to Mr. Boger, who predeceased her in 1904. In 1906 she married a second time, to Henry Hepting, who predeceased her in 1952. Both of them were converted in 1918 and in 1921 were baptized and joined the Mennonite Brethren Church. They came to Yarrow, B. C. in 1930 with their family of six children. Mrs. Hepting is survived by four daughters and one son, Mrs. Aron (Olga) Rempel, Mrs. Elizabeth Klassen, Mrs. Pauline Blessin, Mrs. Henry (Annie) Enns and Johnny Hepting; 33 grandchildren and 46 great grandchildren. John F. Klassen, H. G. Thielman and David Friesen ministered at the funeral.
