Burrton, Kan. &#8212; Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the christian church here for Vern LeRoy Unruh, 24, who was fatally injured Dec. 7 when his car struck an embankment on a county road southeast of Burrton. the services were in charge of Rev. A. H. Peters of Newton and Rev. Gideon G. Yoder, pastor of the Burrton Mennonite Church.

The young man, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard B. Unruh, was traveling alone when his car apparently struck loose sand. It went out of control and hit an embankment at an intersection. He died a short time later in the Halstead hospital without regaining [note: end of article in original paper]

BURRTON YOUTH IS FATALLY HURT WHEN CAR OVERTURNS

Burrton, Kan. — Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the christian church here for Vern LeRoy Unruh, 24, who was fatally injured Dec. 7 when his car struck an embankment on a county road southeast of Burrton. the services were in charge of Rev. A. H. Peters of Newton and Rev. Gideon G. Yoder, pastor of the Burrton Mennonite Church.
