HUNTER KILLED BY STRAY BULLET IN SOUTHERN MANITOBA
Steinbach, Man. — Hit in the stomach by a stray bullet while helping his brother drive deer near Baldur, Man., Bernard Sawatzky, 29, of Winnipeg died several hours later at Baldur medical nursing unit.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter P. Sawatzky of Touround, 13 miles west of Steinbach.
