FRANK MARTENS

Frank Martens was born in 1876 in Rueokenau, Molotschna, Russia. He died in the Menno Hospital, Abbotsford, on February 22, in his 96th year. Funeral services were held in the Yarrow MB Church on February 26, with Rev. P. D. Loewen and Rev. J. F. Klassen in charge.

Married in 1903, he was predeceased by his wife Helen in 1956. He had moved into the Menno Hospital in 1968.

He is survived by a daughter, (Mrs. August Wiebe), 9 grandchildren, 6 greatgrandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
