PETER J. WARKENTIN

Rev. Peter J. Warkentin was born in 1898 in the Ukraine, Russia. He accepted Christ in his youth and anchored his faith in this trustworthy Pilot. In 1920 he married Margarita Heinrichs, and shortly thereafter they emigrated to Canada. Their marriage was blessed with 7 sons and five daughters, and they shared life's trials and blessings together for 52 years.

Mr. Warkentin served as pastor in Lindbrook for many years, and also in Tofield. Funeral services were held in the Crooked Creek M.B. Church,

Left to mourn are his wife, 5 sons, 4 daughters, 42 grandchildren, 2 sisters, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by one daughter, two sons, and three grandchildren.
