ARON K. RIEDIGER

Aron Riediger was born in Lindenau, Molotschna, in 1886, the third of eleven children . He became a Christian at the age of 21 and joined the M.B. Church six years later. His first w ife, Lena Martens, di ed after only two years of marriage. In 1918 he married Justina Marten s, and together they emigrated to Canada w ith their three children in 1924, settling in Saskatchewan . Here six more children w ere born, two of whom died in infancy. In 1945 they moved to B.C. , where he was a member of the Eas·t Chilliwack MB Church till his death on Dec. 12. Aron was a Sunday School teacher for many years. His faith never wavered. After a short illness he died at the age of 86. He leaves to mourn his wife Justina, two sons, five daughters, 10 grandchildren, and one brother.
