AMISH MINISTER OF NEW HAVEN, IND. DIED
New Haven, Ind. — Funeral services were held here July 29 for Pre. Sam Girod, 46, minister of the Old Order Amish Church who died suddenly July 25. Although afflicted with diabetes, he had helped with threshing at his fam the morning of his death.
A native of Berne, Ind., he was ordained to the ministry in 1942. He leaves his wife, Margaret (Gerig) Girod; his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Girod; and brothers and sisters.
