— Rev. N. J. Schmucker, 72, a former minister of the Evangelical Mennonite church at Berne, Ind. died early Tuesday morning at Grace Hospital in Hutchinson. Rev. and Mrs. Schmucker have lived in Hutchinson since his retirement in 1951. Funeral services are to be held Thursday at the Evangelical Mennonite church near Sterling, with Ministers Arthur Enns, E. M. Rock and Vernon Harms officiating. Surviving of the immediate family are Mrs. Schmucker, a son, Loftin, Wichita, and a foster daughter, Mrs. Lois Bearman of Phoenix, Ariz. | |||
