JOSEPHINE WIEBE

Josephine Wiebe, of Coaldale, Alberta, died on May 10, 1972, aged 86 years. She was born in Russia in 1886. With her husband and family she came to Aberdeen, Sask.,in 1925. In 1940 they moved to Coaldale, where she lived until her death. She enjoyed many happy times with her many friends and neighhbours .

She was predeceased by her husband, Jacob, in 1948. Three children died in infancy, a daughter in 1949, also three grandsons and two great-grandsons.

Left to mourn her passing are two sons: Peter, of Taber, Alta., and Jake, of Prince George, B.C.; three daughters: Mrs. David Penner of Kelowna, B.C ., Mrs. William Dyck of Gunn, Alta., and Mrs. Peter Mack of Coaldale, as well as 32 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in the Coaldale MB Church with Rev. D. J. Pankratz and Rev. Retzlaff of the Coaldale Mennonite Church officiating.
