Altona, Manitoba. — John J. Funk, 59, well known resident of the Lowe Farm community, died April 12 following a stroke of paralysis suffered the day before. He had been a grain buyer for Canadian Consolidated Grain for 22 years, and had served on the Lowe Farm school board.

Funeral services were held at the Bergthaler church there on April 15.

GRAIN BUYER DIED FOLLOWING STROKE

Altona, Manitoba. — John J. Funk, 59, well known resident of the Lowe Farm community, died April 12 following a stroke of paralysis suffered the day before. He had been a grain buyer for Canadian Consolidated Grain for 22 years, and had served on the Lowe Farm school board.

Funeral services were held at the Bergthaler church there on April 15. The widow and six children survive.
