McPherson, Kans. — A highway accident near here Sunday evening, April 27, resulted in fatal injuries to Mrs. Peter R. Jost, 76, wife of Rev. Peter Jost, retired minister of the Gnadenau K.M.B. church near Hillsboro. She passed away Monday morning at the McPherson hospital.

Rev. and Mrs. Jost were returning home from the Sunday school convention at the Zoar K.M.B. church, Inman, when their car collided with an automobile driven by Robert Pallman of Salina at the intersection of K17 and Highway 81. Mrs. Jost suffered fractured ribs and a punctured lung. Rev. Jost was also taken to the hospital, but was not seriously injured. The driver of the other car suffered a broken knee.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jost were held at the Gnadenau church on Thursday afternoon.

Fatally Injured in Highway Crash

WIFE OF RETIRED K.M.B. MINISTER DIES OF INJURIES

McPherson, Kans. — A highway accident near here Sunday evening, April 27, resulted in fatal injuries to Mrs. Peter R. Jost, 76, wife of Rev. Peter Jost, retired minister of the Gnadenau K.M.B. church near Hillsboro. She passed away Monday morning at the McPherson hospital.

Rev. and Mrs. Jost were returning home from the Sunday school convention at the Zoar K.M.B. church, Inman, when their car collided with an automobile driven by Robert Pallman of Salina at the intersection of K17 and Highway 81. Mrs. Jost suffered fractured ribs and a punctured lung. Rev. Jost was also taken to the hospital, but was not seriously injured. The driver of the other car suffered a broken knee.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jost were held at the Gnadenau church on Thursday afternoon.
