MRS. ABRAM FRIESEN
Mary Friesen passed away on December 15, 1971 in the Swift Current Union Hospital at the age of 69. She was born in Plum Coulee, Manitoba, in 1902 and came to the Herbert, Saskatchewan district with her parents in 1912. At the age of 17 she was baptized upon her confession of faith and received into the Sommerfelder Church at Main Centre.
She married Abram Friesen in March, 1922 and together they began to farm in the vicinity of Beaver Flat. In 1947 she joined the Bethania Mennonite Brethren Church and later, upon retiring to Herbert, became a member there. She was predeceased by two grandchildren and one great grandchild, three sisters and one bro1her.
Surviving her are her husband, Abram, of Herbert; one son, Edwin, of Orion, Alta.; seven daughters, Mrs. D. (Martha) Kroeker, Lethbridge, Mrs. N. (Dora) Dyck,, Foremost, Alta., Mrs. H. W.
