Retired Farmer Died of Heart Ailment

New Haven, Ind. — Noah Eicher, Sr. of the Woodburn community, well-known retired farmer and a member of the Amish church, died at a Fort Wayne hospital Jan. 13. He had been in ill health for two years, and suffered a heart attack after church services at the home of his son Michael on Jan. 8. His age was 66.

The large family of descendants includes nine sons, two of whom are ministers, three daughters,47 grandchildren, and a brother Crist of Newton, Ontario.

Funeral services were held at the Eicher home on Jan. 16.
