Broken Leg Fatal to Aged Man

New Haven, Ind. — Funeral services were held in the Amish community at Grabill on Dec. 12 for David Gerig, 77, who died in Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne, a short time after suffering a fractured leg in a fall.

The aged man had been staying at the home of his daughter, Mrs. David Wickey near Spencerville, since leaving the home farm. He suffered from dizzy spells, which caused him to fall in the home.

Surviving are three other daughters.
