Rev. Kroeker formerly served M. B. congregations at Lehigh, Kansas and Bessie, Okla. and also served the Bergthal Church in Oklahoma at one time. He and his family escaped from Russia during the revolution.

RETIRED MINISTER CALLED BY DEATH AT LEAMINGTON, ONTARIO

Corn, Okla. — Word was received here of the death of Rev. J. J. Kroeker, retired Mennonite Brethren minister, at Leamington, Ontaio [sic Ontario] on Dec. 9. He had been ill for some time.

Funeral services were held at Leamington on Dec.12.

Rev. Kroeker formerly served M. B. congregations at Lehigh, Kansas and Bessie, Okla. and also served the Bergthal Church in Oklahoma at one time. He and his family escaped from Russia during the revolution.
