Metamora, Ill. &#8212; Funeral services were held at the Metamora Mennonite church Aug. 22 for Jacob A. Garber, 88, well-known and respected farmer here and a lifelong resident of Woodford County.  He died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. John Kennell in Eureka, after an illness of about 10 months.
Surviving are three sons, two daughters, 13 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

RETIRED FARMER CALLED AWAY IN DEATH

Metamora, Ill. — Funeral services were held at the Metamora Mennonite church Aug. 22 for Jacob A. Garber, 88, well-known and respected farmer here and a lifelong resident of Woodford County. He died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. John Kennell in Eureka, after an illness of about 10 months.

Surviving are three sons, two daughters, 13 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
