Mrs. Roth was born at Arthur, Ill. on Dec. 13, 1878.  From San Francisco they traveled northward to Oregon by boat, settling in the Needy district.  Following her marriage to Daniel Roth on Jan. 25, 1900, she lived in the Woodburn community for a number of years.  He died in 1923.
