ART WIEBE

On Sunday, March 21, 1971. flowers were placed in four B.C. churches in memory of Art Wiebe of Prince George, B.C . who disappeared 'along with four passengers when the small airplane he was piloting vanished. March 19, 1970, while on a flight from Terrace. B.C. to Seattle, Wash.

His wife, Hazel, his parents, brothers and sisters wish to exppess their gratitude to all those who S'O faithfully stood by them during their hours, days. weeks and months of bereavement and anxiety as the s·earch f'Or their bel'Oved ·continued .

Art was born August 9. 1941 in Virgil, Onto He moved with his fam ily to Kelowna in 1949 where he c'Ompleted his education. He was always eager to please his Heavenly Father and gave his heart and life to him early. He was baptized on August 10, 1958 'and joined the Kel'Owna Mennon ite BpethrenChupch . On June 26. 1965 he married Hazel Cridland and moved to Prince George. Here he pursued his hobby in aviation. which developed into his career. Art and his wife became active members in the Peden Hill Mennonite Brethren Church.

Left to await the L'Ord 's com ing and glad reunion are his wife, Hazel; his parents. Mr. and Mrs. John J. Wiebe; three sist·ers , Mrs . Jake (Marian) Wiebe. Mrs. Henry (Eleanor) Pauls and Mr . John (Helen) Quiring; three brothers , John, Henry and Rudy; and many relatives and friends.

"God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep and we shall be caughup together with th em in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so sha ll w e always b e with the Lord" (1 Thess. 4:14. 17)
