NORMAN DYCK AND BRUNO BOLDT

Funeral services were held March 9 in the Central Heights MB Church, Abbotsford, for two young Matsqui, B.C. boys who died when the tunnel they were digging collapsed. They were digging with two other friends at the home of one of the deceased boys. Norman Thomas Dyck, 11 was inside the tunnel at the back of his home with a friend, Bruno Theodore Boldt, 9. The two boys who were not inside the tunnel called Mrs. Rudolph Dyck and though the boys were soon uncovered by parents and neighbors, they were pronounced dead on arrival at the MSA General Hospital. Norman Dyck is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Dyck; a sister Barbara; grand- father, A. J. Dyck; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Rempel. Bruno Boldt is survived by his parents, Mr, and Mrs. William Boldt; one brother, Arnold; one sister, Naomi; grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Boldt, Saskatchewan; grandmother, Mrs. Anna Martens, Russia .
