<center><h3>DEATH COMES TO 91-YR.-OLD RETIRED FARMER AFTER LONG ILLNESS</h3></center>
Metamora, Ill. &#8212;  A long and active life came to a close here June 24 with the passing of John R. Reeser, 91-year-old retired farmer and life-long resident of Illinois.  Due to an arthritic condition, he had been confined to bed most of the time the past seven years.
Funeral services were held June 26 at the Roanoke Mennonite church and were widely attended.  Roy Bucher and Ezra Yordy officiated.
Surviving are three children, 17 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren, and an aged sister, Mrs. Anna Householder, 95.  the passing of his wife in 1954 ended a marriage relationship which lasted for 68 years.
