Little Girl Drowns in Farm Pond
Lynnhaven, Va. — Judith Ydenne, 16-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Hershberger, was accidentally drowned in a farm pond at the W. J. Overholt home on Friday, June 17.
Funeral services were held Sunday, June 19, at the Providence Conservative Mennonite church.
The little girl apparently went to the pond by herself and how she got into the water is not known. When she was missed by her mother, a search was begun and the body was found about an hour later, floating on the water.
