— Peter K. Funk, 75, passed away at the home on North Main Street here Saturday, May 21. He had been ill the past three years. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Goessel Mennonite church, of which he was a charter member. Rev. Leo Miller, the pastor, and Rev. Lyle Brown of Newton officiated. Mr. Funk is survived by his wife, Millicent, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Abrahams and Mrs. Grady White of San Bernadino [sic Bernardino], Calif.; two sons, Marion and Howard of Newton; three brothers, John B. of Seattle, Wash., Frank A. of Newton and Jacob K. of Goessel; and two sisters, Elizabeth and Helen of Newton.
