ERDMAN KLASSEN

Mr. Erdman (Ed) Klassen of the Beaver Flat (Sask.) district passed away on November 8 in the Swift Current Union Hospital after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife, the former Luella Little of Cadillac, Sask.; two sons. Bruce and his wife Donna, and Larry; one daughter, Gloria; and his mother. Margaret Klassen of Swift Current. He is also survived by six sisters and one brother. His father, two brothers and a sister predeceased him.

Mr. Klassen was born at Beaver Flat on June 3, 1913. His entire life was lived in the area, By occupation he was a farmer and rancher. He also served on the district school board, in the 4-H Club and as school bus driver. He was a sports enthusiast and had a good relationship with his friends and neighbours.

As a young man he accepted Christ as his personal Saviour but he did not remain faithful to that first experience, During the days of his illness he rededicated his life to Christ and experienced real peace in his soul and with God. His family look forward to a reunion with him in eternity.
