DRIVER OF ILLINOIS SEED COMPANY TRUCK FATALLY INJURED
Metamora, Ill. — Funeral services for Clark Harold Irion, 40, who was fatally injured when his seed truck crashed into a freight train, were held April 8 at the Congerville Mennonite church, Rev. Raymond Yoder officiating.
Mr. Irion who was employed by the Schrock Bros. Seed Corn Co. of Congerville, was en route to Missouri with a load of seed when the truck crashed into a freight train near Lomas, Ill. The accident occurred Monday morning, April 4, and he died about 24 hours later.
A native of Congerville, he leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Irion, four sisters and three brothers.
