Berne, Ind. — Peter A. Habegger, 80, who came to this community from Switzerland at the age of four, died at his home in Berne on Jan. 18. He formerly operated a farm northeast of here, and later was employed at the Berne Furniture company for a few years.

PIONEER SETTLER, RETIRED FARMER DIED AT BERNE, INDIANA

Berne, Ind. — Peter A. Habegger, 80, who came to this community from Switzerland at the age of four, died at his home in Berne on Jan. 18. He formerly operated a farm northeast of here, and later was employed at the Berne Furniture company for a few years.

Funeral services were held Jan 20 at the First Mennonite church, Rev. O. A. Krehbiel officiating.
