PETER E. PRIEBE

A native of Hillsboro, Kansas, Peter E. Priebe, born September 5, 1892, died in the Herbert-Morse (Sask.) Union Hospital on March 8, 1970. He had immigrated to the Morse area many years ago and homesteaded a farm near Flowing Wen which he operated until his retirement. He was predeceased by his first wife, Gunda, in 1918 and by his second wife, Margaret, in 1945. He was also predeceased by one son, six sisters and two brothers. Interment was in the Gnadenau Cemetery near Flowing Well.

He is survived by his wife, Emma; three daughters, Mrs. E.C. (Hilda) Weetman of Stewart Valley, Sask., Mrs. G. (Eleanor) Patterson of Lethbridge, Alta., Mrs. W. (Gunda) Peta of Reddiff, Alta.; four sons, Lorne and Cecil of Hodgeville, Sask., and Aldon and Marlin of Prince George, B.C.; two brothers, one sister, 26 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

The funeral was held in the Herbert Mennonite Brethren Church on March 11 with Rev. Herman Voth and Rev. Nick Janz ministering.
