JACOB PETER DYCK

Jacob Peter Dyck of Yarrow, B.C. passed away at the Chilliwack General Hospital on January 12. He was 72. Mr. Dyck was born on October 10, 1897 in the Ukraine. He emigrated to Canada in 1926 and lived at Gilroy, Sask., after coming to this country, until 1941 . In that year he moved with his family to the Yarrow area.

He is survived by his wife Katherine; six sons, Jacob and Cornelius of Yarrow, Peter, Ben and Henry of Chilliwack, and John of Vedder Crossing; three daughters, Mrs. John (Kay) Schellenberg and Mrs. Louis (Helen) Thiessen of Yarrow, and Mrs. Ann Reimer of Burnaby; and 34 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

The funeral was observed from the Yarrow Church on January 15, with Rev. H,G, Thielman mmlstenng with Rev. Jacob Dyck and Rev. John Bell also participating.
