About a year ago while working for an oil field trucking firm at Augusta, Mr. Funk suffered a severe head injury. Cerebral hemmorhage [''sic''] developed nine weeks ago, and he had been hospitalized since that time. He died Dec. 18.

YEAR-OLD INJURIES CAUSE DEATH

Hillsboro, Kans. — Funeral services for Ernest Funk of Eldorado, a native of this community, were held at the Johannestal church here on Saturday, Dec. 22.

About a year ago while working for an oil field trucking firm at Augusta, Mr. Funk suffered a severe head injury. Cerebral hemmorhage [sic] developed nine weeks ago, and he had been hospitalized since that time. He died Dec. 18.

Survivors include his wife, Adina Ewert Funk, and three daughters, Dona, Doris and Jane.
