Sugarcreek, Ohio. — Peter J. Miller, 70, Amish farmer of Route 3, Dundee, died at Union hospital Dec. 5 from injuries received the same day when hit by a truck on Highway 93 near Shanesville. He was crossing the road to accept a ride in a car when the truck came over the crest of a hill and struck him.

Funeral services were held Dec. 8 at the Conservative A.M. church on Route 62, Bishop Menno Beachy and Mose Swartzendruber officiating. He leaves his wife, seven daughters, three sons, and a number of grandchildren.

70 YEAR OLD FARMER FATALLY INJURED WHEN HIT BY TRUCK

Sugarcreek, Ohio. — Peter J. Miller, 70, Amish farmer of Route 3, Dundee, died at Union hospital Dec. 5 from injuries received the same day when hit by a truck on Highway 93 near Shanesville.
