— At the Springfield church, Hillsboro, Kansas, funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 10, for Rev. H. V. Wiebe. Rev. Wiebe died suddenly at the home of his children, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Heinrichs at Canton, Kansas, on Nov. 5. He had come from Blaine, Wash., and was visiting at the Hienrichs [''sic'' Heinrichs] home. Having eaten breakfast, he complained of a pain in the chest and lay down to rest. Death came quickly and unexpectedly only a few minutes later. Rev. Wiebe was 73 years of age and had served as a minister in the Krimmer Mennonite Brethren conference for many years. | |||
