Harrisburg, Oregon. — Funeral services were held at the Fairview Mennonite church here for Harvey Eby, 30, who was instantly killed while working in the logging industry east of Lebanon. He leaves his wife, the former Hazel Gerig, and a one year old son.

Bro. Eby, employed as a choke setter, was struck by a swinging log. Another employee was slightly injured when he tried unsuccessfully to push him out of the way.

WORKER IN OREGON LOGGING INDUSTRY INSTANTLY KILLED

Harrisburg, Oregon. — Funeral services were held at the Fairview Mennonite church here for Harvey Eby, 30, who was instantly killed while working in the logging industry east of Lebanon. He leaves his wife, the former Hazel Gerig, and a one year old son.
