— A tragedy occurred near Buhler last Thursday forenoon when a tractor accident resulted in the death of Nick B. Martens. According to information received by relatives here, the tractor which he was driving along a freshly graded road apparently ran into a ditch and overturned, killing him instantly. He was 49 years of age. Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. William Dyson of Buhler, and one son, Orville. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the South church in Buhler with Rev. P. R. Voth of Newton and Rev. Jacob Balzer of Inman officiating. Mr. Martens was a nephew of Mrs. P. A. Martens of Newton. | |||
