He was a life-long resident of the Bluffton-Pandora vicinity, and had attended Bluffton college and Ohio Northern university. In his early years he taught school, and later followed the trade of carpentry. | |||
Surviving in the immediate family are his wife, Hattie; four children, Harold of Findlay, Mrs. Agnes Harris of Spartansburg, S C., Mrs. Russell Mast of Freeman, S. D., and Miss Lucille Hilty, who is teaching in Japan; and six grandchildren. | |||

Pandora, Ohio. — Funeral services for Christian D. Hilty, 70, were held at the First Mennonite church of Bluffton on Sept. 26. He was a life-long resident of the Bluffton-Pandora vicinity, and had attended Bluffton college and Ohio Northern university. In his early years he taught school, and later followed the trade of carpentry.
