Pandora, Ohio. — Funeral services for Christian D. Hilty, 70, were held at the First Mennonite church of Bluffton on Sept. 26. He was a life-long resident of the Bluffton-Pandora vicinity, and had attended Bluffton college and Ohio Northern university. In his early years he taught school, and later followed the trade of carpentry.
Surviving in the immediate family are his wife, Hattie; four children, Harold of Findlay, Mrs. Agnes Harris of Spartansburg, S C., Mrs. Russell Mast of Freeman, S. D., and Miss Lucille Hilty, who is teaching in Japan; and six grandchildren.

Retired Carpenter, Teacher Died

Pandora, Ohio. — Funeral services for Christian D. Hilty, 70, were held at the First Mennonite church of Bluffton on Sept. 26. He was a life-long resident of the Bluffton-Pandora vicinity, and had attended Bluffton college and Ohio Northern university. In his early years he taught school, and later followed the trade of carpentry.
