PROMINENT FARMER DIED AT BERNE
Berne, Ind. — Funeral services for Jacob J. Amstutz, 74, lifelong resident of this community, were held at the farm home on Sept. 28. Louis Amstutz and Jacob Neuenschwander of the Sonnenberg church, Dalton, Ohio, were in charge.
Mr. Amstutz, well known farmer here, died suddenly Tuesday afternoon while in the field with his son, Noah. He leaves his wife, eight children, and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
